The Lime Tree Centre is located in Matlock, nestled within the Peak District, and used by the community for a variety of purposes.
The Solution
In 2018, the 6,000ft centre was radically redesigned and a dynamic floor plan was introduced changing the way the space could be utilised including flexible areas that could be opened out or divided up. The low ceiling was removed revealing and an expansive roof space offering considerable lighting options both fit for purpose and architectural aesthetics. A bespoke lighting design across the centre offered a range of lighting solutions for numerous events requiring different light levels and control options.
The Result
The impact of the units created a space that was lit for multiple purposes including; meetings, and community events. The architectural design effected the visual impact of the building and the cost saving units significantly reduced the environmental impact.
